Featured Member: Jeannine Fisher
Jeannine Fisher, PE, LC, joined the Society in 2003. Her nearly 25-year career has emphasized lighting technology, application, and design in a comprehensive combination of engineering, business, marketing, communications, and leadership roles. Jeannine currently holds the position of Director Lighting Design and Application for the OLED Lighting Design Center at Acuity Brands Lighting in Berkeley, California.
Prior to joining Acuity, Jeannine held Marketing Director and Senior Illumination Engineer positions at two leading luminaire manufacturers. She served as Senior Program Engineer at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, where she managed the lighting energy efficiency educational programs at the Pacific Energy Center in San Francisco. There, she focused on analyzing emerging lighting technologies and helping the California Energy Commission and California Public Utility Commission set policies that have encouraged the responsible use of lighting energy.
Jeannine earned her Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Penn State University and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Dominican University of California.
